School Inquiry
Prospective parents are encouraged to call the office to schedule an appointment to tour the school and meet with the School Director from 9:00am-10:30am. This will give you an opportunity to tour our campus and to ask important questions about the programs we offer and of our teaching staff.
Tour
When you arrive, you will need to complete our Guest Information Form, then you will be given a guided tour of the campus and receive an informational packet. You will observe students experiencing their typical school day. We will discuss a comprehensive overview of the Bilingual education and the Montessori curriculum. After you have finished the tour of the campus, you will have an opportunity to discuss tuition rates, fees, and services. Individual concerns about your child may also be discussed at this time.
Application Process
An application form and request for transfer of records will be found in the guest packet you receive during your school tour. The following items must be submitted before we will consider an applicant´s file complete:
- Application form complete (signed by both parents)
- Application fee – non refundable
- If any – Previous school records
Applications are accepted throughout the year. However, placement shall depend upon the space available. The students currently enrolled shall have priority enrollment. When space becomes available, students will be admitted according to the following schedule:
- Siblings of students currently enrolled
- Applicants with previous Montessori experience
- All other applicants
Classroom Visits
In order to complete our enrollment process, AIM offers a classroom visit prior to the child’s acceptance. For toddler/primary level students, this visit will be for 45 minutes.
The elementary students are requested to visit for 1 – 2 days. During this visit they will be given a tour of the entire campus and be introduced to their classmates. A member of the teaching staff will evaluate and administer any testing that may be required. At the end of the day, an appointment will be set with the Director to complete the enrollment process.
Enrollment
Upon receipt of your child´s complete application form and fee, you will be contacted regarding your child´s placement within our school. We will be setting up an appointment to complete an enrollment packet, which will include the school´s contract and other necessary documents for enrollment. During this appointment the school´s policies, financial responsibility, and the families´ involvement and commitment will be thoroughly discussed. Prior to leaving, an appointment will be set with your child´s teacher for your classroom orientation.
